Authors and singers who would like to participate on the Festival, are obliged to register a composition the latest by 30th Aprile, 2025. at the address of organizer Festival or E-mail:

Each participant of the contest must comply with the following conditions:

• Send a qualitative demo recording on a CD with a synchronized vocal and a matrix without vocal
• Send two signed copies of written melody lines with marked harmonies
• Send two copies of lyrics typed on a typing machine or printer with the author’s signature

The authors of selected compositions accept completely conditions of this contest and transfer rights to the organizer for the selected composition to be:

• Performed for the first time in public
• Recorded on carriers of sound and picture
• Published in a graphical form

The authors and singers from all over the world can apply for this contest.

Objava ANNOUNCESA CONTEST FOR MARCO POLO FEST – KORČULA 2024. pojavila se prvi puta na MARCO POLO FEST.

Mješovita klapa ”Sfida”  je klapa Srednje škole Petra Šegedina u Korčuli (s jednom članicom iz osnovne škole Ante Curać Pinjac). ”Sfida” je osnovana 2020. godine. Od osnutka je promjenila veći broj članova zbog pandemije covida, koja je onemogućila održavanje Festivala dječjih klapa. Danas ”Sfida” broji tri djevojke i četiri mladića koji su ne samo zaljubljeni u klapsko pjevanje, već srčano udišu svaku izvornu pjesmu kroz užitak druženja s osobitom željom za klapski napredak. Samo ime ”Sfida” preuzeto je iz viteške igre Moreška.

Riječ ”Sfida” ili izazov, dio je plesa u kojem crni kralj izaziva bijelog (crvenog) kralja u dvoboj. Izazov je bio održavati probe u pandemijskim vremenima, ali s jedinom željom da klapa ostane vjerna svojem otoku i dalmatinskom izričaju s toga u potpunosti opravdavaju ime koje nose. Mješovitu klapu ”Sfida” smo predstavili više puta premijerno. Prvi puta se popeti na pozornicu, ostaviti publiku bez daha i osvojiti gromoglasni pljesak s ovacijama mogu samo najbolji.

Njihov prvi nastup na prošlogodišnjem 26. Međunarodnom Marko Polo Festivalu je izuzetno značajan za nastavak njihovog djelovanja upravo zbog neopterećenosti, jednostavnosti i iskrenosti prema umijeću izvornog pjevanja i pjesme uopće. Voditeljica mješovite klape ”Sfida” je profesorica Josipa Favro Kurtović.  Možda bi bilo značajnije reći odgojiteljica, jer biti predana i odgovorna voditeljica može biti samo majka koja zna i umije vokalno urediti i uskladiti mladi sastav klape, unatoč svim obavezama.

Na XXVII. Međunarodnom Marko Polo Festivalu pisme i vina Korčula 2022. Mješovita klapa ”Sfida” će se predstaviti sa nekoliko pjesama na I. Festivalskoj večeri ”Pisma i vino” 16. 07. 2022. u 21:00 sat na centralnom trgu grada Korčule. /F.O./

Objava TENDER ANNOUNCED FOR XXVII. INTERNATIONAL MARCO POLO FEST – KORČULA 2022. pojavila se prvi puta na MARCO POLO FEST.

XXIII. Edition of the festival will be held on the summer stage “Plokata” in the City of Marco Polo, Korcula from 20 to 22 July 2018.

INTERNATIONAL “MARCO POLO FEST” festival of song and wine, is a traditional Croatian festival was created to honor the 700th anniversary of the return of the famous traveler, travel writer, merchant, explorer of Far East and diplomat at the court of Kublai Khan, Korcula, Marco Polo.

INTERNATIONAL “MARCO POLO FEST” festival of song and wine in the twenty-two years of existence, leaving behind a breath of Dalmatian, Croatian, Mediterranean and international environment, open hand and opportunity for all people of good will to bring best work Korcula winds around the world. Come and see for yourself the immense harmony of natural beauty, Korcula paradise. They’re waiting for you pearl islands, virgin beaches, beautiful bays, vineyards, olive groves, dense pine forests, letters and wine, sun and sea and Korcula “Nomen est omen”.

INTERNATIONAL “MARCO POLO FEST” consists of two final and one international evening: “Letters and Wine”, “Funny Ringtones” and “Ringtones Marco Polo”. At the very beginning on the eve of the first festival evening is called “Festival of wine”, where real competition with wine producers around the world. The jury is composed of professionals, oenologists and the right to have wine tasting and music stars, ie. The performers, actors, singers and representatives of countries participating in the festival.

The 23rd Festival Edition will feature over 200 singers and performers of the program and the 20th wine producer.

XXIII. Festivalsko izdanje održat će se na ljetnoj pozornici ”Plokata” u Gradu Marka Pola, Korčuli od 20. do 22. Srpnja 2018.

MEĐUNARODNI “MARKO POLO FEST”, festival pisme i vina, tradicionalan je Hrvatski festival nastao u čast 700. godišnjice povratka čuvenog putnika, putopisca, trgovca, istraživača dalekog istoka i diplomata na dvoru Kublai Khana, Korčulanina Marka Pola.

MEĐUNARODNI “MARKO POLO FEST”, festival pisme i vina u dvadeset i dvije godine postojanja, ostavlja za sobom dah dalmatinskog, hrvatskog, sredozemnog i međunarodnog okruženja, otvorene ruke i mogućnost svim ljudima dobre volje da najbolji uradak ponesu korčulanski vjetrovi diljem svijeta. Dođite i uvjerite se u neizmjeran sklad prirodnih ljepota, korčulanskog raja. MEĐUNARODNI “MARKO POLO FEST” sastoji se od dvije finalne i jedne međunarodne večeri: “Pisma i Vino”, “Zabavne Melodije” i “Melodije Marka Pola”. Na samom početku uoči prve festivalske večeri je takozvana: “Fešta od vina”, na kojoj pravo natjecanja imaju proizvođači vina cijelog svijeta. Ocjenjivački sud je sastavljen od profesionalaca, enologa a pravo na degustaciju vina imaju i estradne zvijezde tj. izvođači, glumci, pjevači i predstavnici zemalja, sudionica Festivala.

Na ovogodišnjem 23. Festivalskom izdanju nastupati će preko 200. izvođača programa i 20. proizvođača vina.

Predsjednica Kolinda Grabar Kitarović i ove je godine pokroviteljica Međunarodnog Marko Polo Festivala.
